[Ferro-Alloys.com] India has been consistently increasing its domestic production of steel and is a net exporter in the current financial year, union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Monday.

He also said the total number of steel plants in the country stood at 977. 

Vietnam’s exports to Brazil in the first 10 months of 2019 increased by 6.65 percent in value to reach 1.82 billion USD, according to preliminary statistics of the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

It is noteworthy that steel and iron products posted big surges in both export quantity and value.

In November 2019, not only did construction steel achieve record sales, but Hoa Phat steel pipe also reached the highest level ever in sales history, reaching 72.500 tons, increased 27,6% over the same period in 2018. In particular, the North market has the highest growth rate with 38,4%. With this result, Hoa Phat maintains its position as the No. 1 steel pipe manufacturer in Vietnam with over 31% market share.
